Private medical services in Lillehammer
Lillehammerlegen can provide medical services if you are feeling unwell or require medical attention. We visit people in their homes or hotels.
However, if you had an accident or emergency and you are in need of an ambulance, please dial 113.
If it's outside of office hours and you need immediate help from a GP - then medical services can be reached at the hospital around the clock by dialling 116117.
House calls
We currently visit patients at home in the Lillehammer area. This includes ski resorts at Hafjell and Kvitfjell, Sjusjøen, Nordseter, Gaiastova and Pellestova.

Private medical services where you are
An experienced doctor will visit you and help you with your problem if you are sick or had an accident. We can refer you to specialist care or admit you to the hospital if needed, or we can start treatment immediately. We will also send you a letter summarising diagnostics and treatment if you need it for you regular GP or insurance. We can also follow you up as your regular GP if you wish.
Please note that we do not carry nor prescribe treatment with any medicine that causes addiction, such as opioid painkillers and sleeping pills unless we take over as your primary physician with responsibility for continuation of treatment.
Prices
Visit from the doctor including prescriptions, referrals, starting medicine, documents for sick leave and quick blood tests (limited by availability). NOK 1490 (approximately 125€).
We also do blood tests on our house calls.
Blood tests performed by us cost an additional NOK400.

If possible, please have your medical history ready when we visit you. We always need to know what prior diseases you have and how they have been treated, and it's important to tell us if you have any allergies or intolerances. This is particularly important in case you want a medical second opinion, in this case we need your full chart and history. This information is rarely available online, and obtaining your history from hospitals and your GP can be time consuming.
